The impact of green smart city technologies on improving residents' quality of life

The article reviews the literature on the impact of green technologies on improving the quality of life of residents in smart cities. It indicates that green technologies, such as renewable energy sources, low-emission transport, digital environmental monitoring, and intelligent energy management systems, contribute to improving health conditions, increasing residents’ satisfaction, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, the analysis identifies challenges associated with the implementation of these methods, including social inequalities, high implementation costs, and lack of citizen engagement. The article emphasizes the need to integrate green technologies with urban policy and to develop tools for assessing their impact on quality of life. The review’s findings provide a basis for further research and practical actions in the field of sustainable urban development.
