This issue of the EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL SCIENCE (EJMSS) results from a conference at the Max Weber Institute. The advantage of this issue of the Journal is the interdisciplinarity of the articles, which creates a field for further discussions. We believe that our Journal will intrigue the Reader and will meet with considerable interest. We will also allow for a better understanding of the importance of many problems in the field of social sciences and will encourage further research.
